Pink Saturday and Accuquilt Die Quilt

Pink Saturday-stop on over to Beverly our lovely hostess and check out all of the links. http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com//

I used my studio accuquilt cutter to make this quilt, using the Take Five Die.  It works up very fast and is so much fun arranging the blocks.  I used mainly "red" Kaffe Fassett and a few Phillip Jacobs prints for this quilt, hard to get a good look from the picture of what the overall quilt looks like in person.  If you like red, you'll like this one.I sued a fun Ann Bright quilt design, pantograph for the quilting and really thick batting, because I had it on hand.

Flowers in my garden waiting to burst open, lots of pinks.

Thanks for stopping by have a great week.  Sunday post with photographs from Linwood Gardens, Treee Peoney.  Hugs, Michelle

  1. I like that in the all red tones. I think the stripe is a really good choice in there for some interest.

  7. The making of a quilt is not my thing. I dearly love them and have many. This is a neat one you have. Back in my day, our family hand pieced and quilted them. All the neighbor ladies got together for a quilting bee.
