Quilt Finish- Spring Flowers-Pink Saturday!

Pink Saturday-Welcome Spring and almost a quilt finish!
We have had a marvelous long week of record breaking temperatures, that have been marvelous.

The daffodils, crocus, mini iris and hyacinths are all blooming, no tuplips here, the deer eat them, and oh how I do love tulips, guess you can't have everything. Many of my perienials are looking good, and I just noticed my rose leafs are open, this is really just unbelieveable for March in western new york area, this is usually 6-8 weeks later weather.

I have been wanting to quilt a wholecloth monotone for quite sometime now, so I started with a small lap size, using Kona cotton beige and some white thread.  The quilt pattern quilted beautifully.

Of course the binding isn't done...going to give this one, hopefully this weekend.  I plan to make lots of these monotone type quilts white with beige thread, darker beige with white thread, cream with beige thread, all that would fit into those lovely shabby chic decor rooms.   I have so many quilt patterns I want to quilt, I just love wholecloth quilts.
Here are a few close-ups.  I plan to put this one up for sale in my esty shop once I'm done with the binding.

Have a wonderful weekend, blessings Michelle

Paper Purses and stamped tea cards

Purses, and tea go hand in hand, right.  I had so much fun making these adorable little purses, I just couldn't stop.  They are great for a favor size for little gifts to fill with candy.  I love this new tea stmap set too.  All products from stamping up.

I made several in each style in a bunch of colorways, not showing all of them, don't want to bore you too much.  This is my favorite one, with the white background and this embossing folder is one of my favorite.
I love tea parties, I drink tea every day, morning, noon and night, sometimes it's a quick mug in the microwave, another time it's brewed in the kettle just right and sometimes when there's more time it's loose leaf in fine china.  I like all kinds of tea, but mostly ?  Do you have a a special time of day for tea, or cup, or variety of tea or special desert with tea?
Happy sipping, Michelle

Sonnenburg Gardens

June 2011, a Garden trip to "Sonnenburg Gardens" in Candaigua New York.  A hot, sunny beautiful day, glad we arrived early morning, by 1pm we were ready to go.  Had a lovely time with my cousin admiring the amazing estate and gardens, took lots of pictures.  I've created a digital scrapbook with my stampin up digital studio, used templates...but it still took me a long time to put this together...hope you enjoy viewing it.

Have a wonderful Lord's Day, all priase, honor and glory to Him, Michelle

Stamping Snowman

Lots of Snowman cards....this will be the last of this seasonal card making...I'm looking forward to Spring and flowers next.

I really had lots of fun creating these cards...I just got my "snowman" drawer of winter stamps out and went to town.  I like working on a theme, it's so much easier to limit yourself to one theme and use all the stamps/punches/embellishments that coordinate.  I had a friend over for her birthday and we stamped for a few hours, we do this twice a year, once for her birthday and once for mine.  Have a lovely day enjoying whatever hobby craft that brings you joy.  Hugs, Michelle
