True Encouragement for your Heart

I believe today will be a good day because God made it.
{Psalm 118:24}

I believe I have all I need to accomplish His purpose in my life.

{2 Peter 1:3}

I believe nothing is too difficult for me because nothing is impossible for

the God who lives in me.

{Philippians 4:13}

I believe even the biggest challenges in my life can be redeemed for my good

and His glory.

{Romans 8:28}

I believe I am loved just as I am and called to become even more like Jesus

every day.

{Hebrews 10:14}

I believe that He isn't finished with me yet and is able to complete the good

work begun in me.

{Philippians 1:6}

I believe I am an overcomer, more than a conqueror, and nothing will keep God

from carrying out His plans!

{Romans 8:32-39}

Can I get an "amen" or a "yoo-hoo"?

Linwood Gardens

Linwood Gardens was where I visited  last weekend, saw the most beauitful gardens of tree peonies, 500 of them and the grounds were so peaceful, Italian Gardens, sculpures ,gates, fountains, chapel, countryside views, felt like another era...met one of the family members who still owns the summer home, had a lovely lunch, listened to some unusual music, beautiful day! http://www.linwoodgardens.org/Linwood_Gardens/Home.html

I wanted a slide show up today, but I am not very good at this and have spent soooo much time and very frustrated.  I tried making one with picasso google and one with photoscape which in those programs views as a slide show just fine, but I can't figure out how to upload a slide show, anyone have some insight let me know.  Until then here are a few photos.

Pink Saturday and Accuquilt Die Quilt

Pink Saturday-stop on over to Beverly our lovely hostess and check out all of the links. http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com//

I used my studio accuquilt cutter to make this quilt, using the Take Five Die.  It works up very fast and is so much fun arranging the blocks.  I used mainly "red" Kaffe Fassett and a few Phillip Jacobs prints for this quilt, hard to get a good look from the picture of what the overall quilt looks like in person.  If you like red, you'll like this one.I sued a fun Ann Bright quilt design, pantograph for the quilting and really thick batting, because I had it on hand.

Flowers in my garden waiting to burst open, lots of pinks.

Thanks for stopping by have a great week.  Sunday post with photographs from Linwood Gardens, Treee Peoney.  Hugs, Michelle

Praise God for Flowers

Flowers, when I count the things that I love, this is one of them, His magnificent creativity is surely evident !  From my gardens to you....
Matthew 5:3...Humble men are very fortunate! he told them, "for the Kingdom of Heaven is given to them.

vs. 4 those who mourn are fortunate! for tthey shall be comforted.
vs. 5 The meek and lowly are fortunate! for the whole wide world belongs to them.
vs. 6 Happy are those who long to be just and good, for they shall be completely satisfied.
vs. 7 Happy are the kind and merciful, for they shall be shown mercy.
vs. 8 Happy ae those whose hearts are pure, for they shall see God.
vs. 9 Happy are those who strive for peace-they shall be called the sons of God.
vs. 10 Happy are those who are persecuted because they are good, the Kingdom of Heaven is theirs.

Matthew 5:15-16, Don't hide your light!  Let it shine for all; let your good deeds glow for all to see, so that they will priase your heavely Father.

Pink Saturday-Accuquilt Quilt, Knitted dishcloth, Stamped Cards

Pink Saturday-stop on over to Beverly our lovely hostess and check out all of the links. http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com//

I've been busy...creating for one thing.  I have a new Accuquilt die, it's a fringed 8" square for making rag quilts and I'm lovin it.  I've only made one rag quilt in my life and said I'd never make another one because after all the cutting of the fringe my arm was in soooo much pain, it was a beautiful flannel.  But, now, oh my gosh, no cutting with scissors and I can see many of these to come.  I am using some beautiful Kaffe Fassett prints in brights in cotton and it's a much lighter rag quilt than the flannel and really nice.  I have one row done.

Finished this knitted dishcloth up last weekend in a pretty pink and green cotton with the checkerboard pattern stitch.

Guess what, I've become a stamping up demonstrator, just because my life isn't busy enouggh...:)

Have a wonderful week and thanks for stopping by today...tomorrow will be gardens and flowers to share!
Hugs, Michelle
