Waiting...Quilts...Father
Scriptures today are on waiting. I'm waiting on many things, one of them is seeing if my house sale goes through {praying for the buyers financing to go thru, their house sale to go thru and my finding a house and offer accepted and my finanancing to go thru, then of course the whole physical move}. Waiting can be stressful. One thing I wait upon is the Rapture, and that waiting upon the Lord is not stressful, it is calming to know who is in control and that the Lord's loving kindness endures forever.
I wait for you, O LORD; you will answer, O Lord my God. --Psalm 38:15
Hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what he already has? But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently. --Romans 8:24-25
I watch in hope for the LORD, I wait for God my Savior; and my God will hear me. --Micah 7:7
Since ancient times no one has heard, no ear has perceived, no eye has seen any God besides you, who acts on behalf of those who wait for him. --Isiah 64:4
In keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, the home of righteousness. --2 Peter 3:13
Consider it pure joy...whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. --James 1:2-4
I wait for the LORD, my soul waits, and in his word I put my hope. My soul waits for the Lord more than watchmen wait for the morning. --Psalm 230:5-6
The LORD is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him; it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the LORD. --Lamentations 3:25-26
Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD. --Psalm 27:14
So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised. --Hebrews 10:35-36
Jesus said, "He who stands firm to the end will be saved." --Matthew 24:13
Christ was sacrificed one to take away the sins of many people; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him. --Hebrews 9:28
Keep your selves in God's love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life. --Jude V21
Taken from the book: Promises for life for Women
waiting in hope... What are you waiting for? Waiting is hard when you just know your life will be so much better if your hopes become reality. Waiting is hard...espeically when years pass and there is no sign of your expectations being met. Questions begin to dominate your thoughts: Why don't I have this now? What have I done wrong? What if it doesn't happen? Often, the longer you wait, the more desparate you become. But God has plans for your life. Plans that will make you thrive and not be knocked down by life's setbacks. God's plans are well worth waiting for. You may be tempted to take matters into your own hands, thinking God is just a little bit late. But don't risk God's perfect intentions for you by relying on your own schemes. Waiting for God's perfect timing can save you years of heartbreak. Remember, God is faithful and always keeps his promises--even if you have to wait.
I have been waiting for a very long time to make a move with my housing and I am hoping this is God's timing and and hoping this all goes through, I saw a house today...number ???? {getting tired of looking} and thinking it would be just right for us. If not I know He will have the perfect one at the right time...but I also know this is my temporary house, my HOME/Mansion is in heaven on the new earth with my LORD and savior where I will live for eternity.
This post today is dedicated to my Dad, who has been HOME now for 10 years. Thank God for his plans, I can't wait to have the tears wiped away.
My Father loved/loves flowers.
I was very blessed with a wonderful Father, and childhood, not lots of money, but enough and lots of love.
This finishes up the quilt show photos, until the next one show I attend. If you've been following, hope you've enjoying looking at all the variety of color and design.
Have a wonderful Sunday. Paise God, Michelle

Quilts from the show
....and still more quilts from the show. Today's text for the quilts are on Prayer fromt he book "Opening the Gates of Heaven" by Perry Stone
Search yourself before you pray. Pray a purity prayer as you begin, asking God to forgive you of any offenses and to enable you to keep the channel of blessing open in your life.
Search the Scriptures. Find a promise in God's Word that speaks to the specific needy ou are presenting to God. Lock into that promise with your faith, reminding God not only of His promise butal so of the convenant He has established with you.
Search the will of God. It does little good to pray for something that is otside of the will of God. Remember God's Word that says: "Ye ask, and receive not not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts" {James 4:3, KJV}
Search your own spirit. Pray in the Spirit when you do not know what to pray for inour own heart. What are God's issues related to your request? how does He feel about this situation?
Be specific. I cannot overemphasize the importance of this key. When you are praying for your child, say, "Father, here is {name}. This is my child, who is {age} years of age. He needs {state specific need}."
Be sincere. Have apure motive for your prayer. Do not come before God with a proud, boastful, or arrogant spirit.
Be energetic. "The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much" (James 5:16). Pray with energy and fire. Pray with the anointing of God.
Be steadfast. Pray without ceasing. Pray when you are driving to work, walking in the neighborhood, or taking a shower. Pray continually. Pray without wavering.
Bow your knees in prayer. "For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ" (Eph. 3:14)
Include the LORD's Prayer.
Our Father which art is heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For think is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen. --Matthew 6:9-13, KJV
This prayer begins by honoring God's name and predicting the coming kingdom. It asks for God's willl to be released on earth. There is a request for provision, forgiveness, and freedome from the evil one. It concludes by honoring the kingdom of God and recognizing God's power and glory in thekingdom.
Prayer Requires Quality Time. Usuallly one hour..."Could you not watch with Me one hour?" (Matthew 26:40)
Pray for as long as the burden stays.
Pray without ceasing.
Don't be infludenced by surroundings.
Learn to discern spirtual suddenlies. It begins as a weight in your spirit, and as the day progresses, the pressure intensifies. "nudges".
Pray in the Spirit. The purpose of the prayer language in to enable aperson's inner spirt to speak to God, to help the believer to build up his faith, and pray the will of God when he is uncertain of what His will is.
Conclude with praise. Hallelujah {praise the Lord}, Glory to the name of the Lord.
God answers prayers for His Glory.
Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.--1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
Blessings to you, Praise God, Michelle
