Here are a few blocks I've started to make with some of my overwelming piles/bins of scraps. Kim of Magnolia Bay http://magnoliabayquilts.blogspot.com/2010/01/string-blocks-tutorial.html has put together a great little tutorial on piecing these, so head on over and take a look. I started to do one layout with putting 4 blocks together as a square, then I was looking thru my Kaffe books and saw this with a different layout of all in a row, so I think I'm going with that one for this quilt (all in a row not pictured yet) I can probably do many quilts with the scraps I have, feels good to start using them.
