Crochet Blanket
My newest project is a crochet blanket. Need some new color insiration for your quilts, I am having so much fun putting color combinations of yarn together. I'm really finding some different ones I like that I normally would not use. Try other mediums to work with to get some new creativity. I'm using 27 different colors and the 4th row will turn these 3 colored circles into a square and then they will all be joined together. I really like having a project that I can take with me to do when there is some down time. I started this on Saturaday and in 2 days I had 47 circles done, now I can just take the circles and a ball of white for my "to go" bag and complete round 4th . I was searching books and magazine at B&N book store, bought a couple and then I ended up using a FREE pattern found on the intranet, I love all we all share ideas and it is so cool to connect with people from around the world. Here is the link for a tutorial http://solgrim.blogspot.com/2009/06/sirkel-i-kvadrat.html If you decide to join in let me know love to see what colors you work with. I am just making this for utilitarian purposes and am using acrylic yarn {purchased Vann's line at Joann's}.
