Rosebud Quilt Block

This site has directions for a Rosebud Quilt Block, I have not made one yet, but it is on my list of to do's, afterall, the Rosebud Quilting Business should have a rosebud quilt for the namesake, I think. I personally like the block anyway, and my favs are pink and green, so that would just work out great.

THE ARTFULL BRAS PROJECT BRAS FOR A CAUSE
Members of Quilters of South Carolina have created one-of-a-kind bras for Breast Cancer Awareness. The exhibit consists of fifty original works of art which are unique, entertaining, humorous, and beautiful to make the public aware of breast cancer, to memorialize those lost to the disease, and to honor survivors.

Check it out...creativity for a cause...:)Michelle

Patriotic Eagle Pillow Sham

I quilted up this pillow sham in a home decor fabric top and cotton fabric inside. It is a beautiful decor pillow and I think I will try a few other color variations. I have it listed on my etsy site for sale.

Handmade Tags

This past weekend I made 40-Forty, yes count them -tags. You can use them as bookmarks or gift tags, etc. It is so addicting and fun to make these...I love a quick satisfaction project. Each tag has a bible verse stamped on the back. I went "green" somewhat...using snipets of fabric to wrap the tags, normally, I hate to admit it, but I had been tossing these tiny scraps into the garbage for a very long time because they were too small to sew into piecing quilts. The wrapping was inspired by Angela Harris of http://yourangil.blogspot.com/ her tages are so georgeous, check them out on her blog and etsy site.
