I really spoiled myself this last month with a few purchases books and magazines. The first one pictured is Kaffe's newest book "Quilt Romance'....I can't decide which quilt I want to make...I've been waiting for this book and it did not disappoint, I LOVE color. The next find on the magazine rack is Mary Janes Farm, I haven't read yet but there is an article on "barn Quilts" (painted) and another on repairing old quilts. Then I picked up my "must have" I have been collecting for several years now, every time they come out the Quilt Sampler, I read this one cover to cover and devour it. Of course, before you know it the holidays will be right here and I saw the Quilting Arts Gifts magazine and I am inspired for some Xmas gifts...I better get started, you know how time disappears. Joann's was having a sale 30% off so I picked up two books Strips n Curves StrataVarious Quilts, they both caught my eye and I though they look like a good way to use up some scraps with strip piecing. The only good thing about the bad weather coming is to be inside sewing and quilting.

You spoiled yourself with great books. Both the Kaffe Fasset's book and the Strips 'n Curves look like nice books. The 'n word means and in my language...so I really like it. I have never seen a Quilting Arts Gift magazine. Have fun reading!
Ohhh, these books seem to be calling me a little bit. hmmmm... Actually I'm glad you shared because I've been thinking of picking up a Kaffe book. This just helps keep the concept fresh.
Michelle... what wonderful books and fabrics and quilts! I would be hard pressed to make a decision between patterns. I love them all...
Happy Pink Saturday...
