Mug Rug Finsih

Mug Rug-this is my first mug rug I've made, and oh yes I will be making more of these cute little mini's.  What a great way to use up scraps, so easy to just do some free form piecing...and who doesn't have a zillion pieces of scraps.  I did some simple straight line quilting and even had some leftover binding to use so I didn't have to make any just for this, woo hoo.

These marshmellows are really petite, about 1/3  size of a mini marshmellow at the store, found them at a local country general store.  I always add extra, you can never have too many right!

My youngest sister has a birthday coming up this month and she adores snowman, so this one is for her, no worries she has no time to read blogs, so it will be a surprise.
Hugs, Michelle

Very cute! I don't feel so bad, I'm just now making my first mug rug from a left over quilted square from a jacket I made. I have a feeling they will be addicting ;)

Sweet comments warm my heart, just like the hot cocco. The snowman mug I purchased from Target store several years ago a whole ceramic set of various dishes and I just love them, I bring the whole set out each Jan and put snowflakes on my chandlier...I'll post a photo later of the dining room. Sorry...but I am looking to see if I ever see anythingmore that coordinates with them.
