Iris, Bearded & Siberian-Outdoor Wednesday-June 17th

Welcome to Outdoor Wednesday, hosted by Susan of A Southern Daydreamer. Beautiful outdoor photos can be found, when you stop by Susan’s, each Wednesday. Below is my contribution to Outdoor Wednesday this week.

The purple and white bearded iris are from my father and mother's garden and the siberian iris are from my grandmother's garden so they are all very special to me, if I ever move, I'm taking them with me. This is my first mosaic...don't seem to quite have the total hang of it yet, I can't seem to get the photos placed exactly where I want them...but after one and a half hours I did seem to be able to get this far...I didn't see any tutorial or instructions so I did trial and error, which was a tad bit frustrating I do say....is it just me...did I miss something.

Hi Michele,
The bearded irises are beautiful, I know they have special meaning to you. They reminded me of some my grandmother grew at her farm.and your mosaic is great, would you mind sharing with me how you did it, i have been wanting to try it. Thank you for sharing. Sue

If this is your first mosaic, I am impressed! I have never found a tutorial either and have never done one! I would definitely make sure those irises go with you if you move. I love the color with the color and texture of the tree bark! Great post!

Beautiful irises!! Happy Outdoor Wednesday.

About your photo question. I downloaded Windows Live Writer. I'm now doing all my posts, using this tool. It gives more options than the regular blogger composing method. You can add your photos and drag them to a larger size. An option I really like is the preview. You can actually see your post, as it will appear on your blog and edit. I would recommend downloading the free Windows Live Writer. I know several bloggers who use it. I also had my template changed, which allows for bigger photos. I don't know why you can't load more than 5 at present. I think you will like using the Windows Live Writer though. That should help with photos and posting.
Hope this helps!
