Praise God!

When you think of creativity....look what God did with flowers...colors, designs...I had to share this double white peony with you it is the fluffiest with such intricate layers and pure solid white...hope you enjoy this little garden poem...(I don't know who wrote the poem...it's one of those emails someone sent me a few years ago, that go around)

Garden of life!!

Plant three rows of peas:

Peace of mind
Peace of heart
Peace of soul

Plant four rows of squash:

Squash gossip
Squash indifference
Squash grumbling
Squash selfishness

Plant four rows of lettuce:

Lettuce be faithful
Lettuce be kind
Lettuce be happy
Lettuce really love one another

No garden should be without turnips:

Turnip for service when needed
Turnip to help one another
Turnip the music and dance

Water freely with patience
Cultivate with love.

There is much fruit in your garden
Because you reap what you sow.

To conclude our garden
We must have thyme:

Thyme for fun
Thyme for rest
Thyme for ourselves
Thyme with God!

God's handiwork is stunning isn't it!!! The complexity of it all just screams out the Creator's name!
I love the poem...may I use it for Father's Day? My husband loves to garden with my two girls so I thought it would be pretty typed up and put in a frame. Do you know who wrote it? Thank you!
